Sixteen National Trails criss-cross the English and Welsh countryside, covering an incredible 2,500 miles (soon to be 2,800 miles as additional sections of Trails are added). Around 80,000 people complete a National Trail each year, while around 83 million visitors make a National Trail part of their holiday.
