BOUTIQUE HOTEL GROUP ANNOUNCES £30M EXPANSION PLANS

The Pig Hotel Group are expanding their portfolio by acquiring three new boutique hotels in Cornwall, Kent and West Sussex.

The £30M expansion will continue with the brand’s luxury rural chic design which celebrates the British countryside with a natural, earthy wood palette of ‘shabby chic’ interiors designed by interior designer Judy Hutson.

This move will increase The Pig Hotel Group’s portfolio to a total of eight properties. The first one of the new properties to launch will be a Grade I listed 17th Century manor house situated at Bridge Place, Kent. The historic house, which will open its doors to the public this autumn, has been well preserved and still retains plenty of its original features, keeping in theme with The Pig Group Hotel Group’s brand throughout.

The two additional Grade II listed properties, which are situated in Padstow and Arundel and are also packed with history, will open later on in 2019.

Robin Hutson, who founded The Pig Hotel Group seven years ago, was previously co-founder of the Hotel du Vin Group along with Gerard Basset back in 1994.

The Pig Hotel Group has managed to build an enviable reputation in its seven years in business, providing guests with high-end historic and stately destinations with an underlying British theme, excellent culinary experiences and a sustainable tradition of sourcing their fish, meat and produce locally.
